To put it shortly, this project was a personal success.

 

There were many aspects of the film I anticipated to be stronger. Some scenes, mostly the ones I animated at the beginning of the movie’s production, were not as great in quality as the later scenes, which made the start of the film a little underwhelming in the visual aspect. I feel that the storyline wasn’t presented clearly enough in the middle of the film, as the character actions alone didn’t totally do the plot justice. I also feel that more time could have been put into fixing the small animation glitches and inconsistencies in different clips of the movie. A lot of these problems are because I didn’t consider the harsh rendering circumstances I would have with the film, which ended up being a huge obstacle towards the end of its production.

 

However, this 3D animated film is my favorite piece of art I’ve ever created. I’m very proud that I stayed committed to finishing this film for almost half a year, and never gave up even when all hope seemed lost. Though I was presented with so many great obstacles in the production of the movie, I dealt with them all and learned so much from the problems I faced. This movie presents all of my strongest work - my best design, artwork, music, writing, and editing. Though I’m very proud of the visuals, story, and music of the film, I’m very proud of my progression as an artist and my dedication to finishing this movie. I couldn’t be happier with the product.
